Personal Information

"Enthusiasm"--from the Greek entheos, "to have the god within oneself."

I was born at 6:45pm, March 21 (hence my middle name of Vernon; I always did like that), 1956, at Ft. Belvoir, VA. I share a birthday with Johann Sebastian Bach, Modest Mussorgsky, Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr., James Coco, Timothy Dalton, Gary Oldman, Rosie O'Donnell, and Matthew Broderick. My astrological chart says that I'm an Aries with Libra rising, Moon in Leo, and a grand fire trine. My birth sign in Chinese terms says that I'm a fire monkey. Either way you slice it, I'm a fiery personality.

As the simplest of calculations will show, I turned 40 in 1996, about which I was very pleased. I'd been looking forward to being 40 for a couple of years now: as my stepmother, Elaine, says, "One is not an adult until one turns 40." Yup, I think so. It's been quite a journey so far. I've been enjoying being an adult since then. Huzzah!
